Making the movie opened my daughters up to a whole new creative realm and possibility for self expression. Lauren was full of great ideas but also allowed plenty of space for collaboration and creative freedom between the cast. Lauren was truly the catalyst for the magic! Being involved in the writing of the movie and going to the premiere we’re definitely some of my favorite parts of the whole process. I was able to collaborate with others. I saw how this project made my daughters friendships even closer through the opportunity to work together, making memories that will last a lifetime. In the weeks leading up to the filming, my children were actively and excitedly learning their lines, talking about the upcoming weekend with their friends who were also involved. Their joy was palpable, and their smiles and laughter is forever etched into my memory. We even planned a red carpet premiere after we received the completed movie so our friends and family could see what our kids had accomplished.
